2. Dual-stem design: Threaded upper stem with hardened surface and hardened lower stem
3. Lower stem thread lubricant isolated from system media                            
4. Linear rather than rotary helical motion of lower stem prevents wear damage to seat and tip, reducing total friction area between packing and lower stem                            
5. Safe backseat seal at fully open position
6.Each valve undergoes seal testing before shipment, with 5% of the units subjected to water pressure seal testing at 1.5 times the rated working pressure.
